Dolphin Discovery, Socially Responsible Company

A Socially Responsible Company (SRC) maintains a balance between its organizational culture, ethics, moral, values and legal aspects. Besides achieving its commercial goals, it also benefits partners, suppliers and workers families. It is committed with citizenship and environment.

The community must have clearly defined the quality of life of the organization, its link with society, environment protection and commercial ethics, as part of standards compliance to obtain this certificate. Operation and vision values with social perspective must be included in its business plan.

In the year 1997, the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI: Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía) was pioneer in the introduction of the Socially Responsible Company concept, later, other organizations started to work under the same idea. Up to the year 2000, the concept SRC (ESR, Spanish acronym) was established to identify companies that fulfill the social responsibility standards.

From its creation, success was marked by the increasing number of companies and organizations that continuously made efforts to obtain it or maintain it. Dolphin Discovery has obtained this certificate 4 times during the last years, being a committed company towards environment and living beings.
