1. Group Trip

We had an excellent visit to Dolphin Discovery! We are an International Beauty Pageant and this trip to Riviera Maya is part of the prize package, which also includes the opportunity to swim with dolphins. Not only did our winners (and their families) have the experience of swimming with dolphins, they were also able to interact with manatees and sea lions. The facility was super clean, very organized and had excellent customer service. The animals all seemed to be healthy and well taken care of. The guides at each exhibit/activity were extremely knowledgable about the animals and it was a fabulous learning experience as well as fun. Pricing was the average for this type of activity and since we were a group, included lunch as well, which was great! We will definitely be back with our 2020 winners next spring for sure!
2. Royal Swim was Great
Bernhard visited us in December 2019 with his Family from Hamm, Germany.
Royal Swim. With Your while and though it is not cheap most definitively worth it. We spend 1 hour with the dolphins and 30 min each with the manatees and the sea lions. You can touch and cuddle not so long, but remember that the animals meet lots of people and the trainers take care that they are not hurt or stressed. All in all a good time for the family.
3. A Beautiful Experience

We visited here early December and it was my first time experiencing this. We did the Royal Swim so we had time with dolphins, manatees and a sea lion. I have to say it appeared that the trainers and each of the animals they worked with have a great mutual relationship and there does seem to be genuine care shown to the animals, which is nice to see. Hopefully it is that same way behind the scenes as well. All are very well trained and gentle. Claudia the manatee is the sweetest girl ever! She would come over and hug us even without being prompted by her trainer. I just loved her! The sea lion was quite comical! I wish I could remember his or her name! Too bad they are not listed on the website with a little background of each animal. Would be nice to read further about them. So much fun to take photos with each one. The photographer did a fantastic job, and the pictures are excellent quality. You get quite a few with each animal. If you are hesitant about purchasing them, just do it. You will be so happy that you did.
4. Amazing Experience

We didn’t plan or doing the experiences with the animals and just went to visit Puerto Aventuras for the day. After meeting the lovely Paulina, who by the way is an amazing photographer! We decided to do the Dolphins, Sea Lions, and also the Manatees. I work in travel and have been to many places similar to here. The trainers at Dolphin Discovery treat the animals extremely well and it was really nice to see how well they actually were treated. The staff is extremely professional and we all had a wonderful day. Credit to all staff at Dolphin Discovery and keep up the good work. Thank you Paulina for our amazing photos and an experience we will all remember forever! Rocky was my husband’s favorite, my daughters were Claudia, the Manatee and mine have to be Tequila, the dolphin ( I know his name wasn’t really Tequila but it sounded very similar. Thanks for all!
5. Best Dolphin Experience

We completed this experience with 2 adults and our 4 children ages 7-16. Great experience with dolphins, manatees, sea lions. This seems like an actual sanctuary for the animals versus the small cages other dolphin experiences offer. Great people, great time, and great food! Only downside is the cost of pictures, but hey everybody is trying to make a living. HIGHLY recommend.
