In Dolphin Discovery we are very happy to celebrate the birth of a new baby. Foxie, one of our most iconic females, just had his fourth breeding ever.
This calf was born in the beautiful location of Cozumel, just a few hours ago and it went very well, the happy mom and breeding are very healthy. We do not know the sex of the offspring, but hopefully we will soon.
Cozumel, for its clear water, was the perfect backdrop for the beautiful spectacle that depicts the birth of a baby, in addition, by the above conditions, it will be easier for trainers to take the clock monitoring of both breeding and mother and thus make sure that everything is going well.
Foxie is a medium sized female, age is approximately 25 years and its main feature is that she is very strong and dominant, however, as a mom, Foxie has always been very protective, patient and loving.
Her first brood had called Marina, which is currently also in Cozumel and is now almost 10 years old. Marina was always very curious and playful.
The second breeding Foxie was Padme, she was born in February 2006 at the location of Puerto Aventuras. The most distinguishing feature is that Padme loves playing with all kinds of stuff that is in the background, like rocks, coral, seaweed and shells.
The third is called breeding Portos Foxie, who was born in February 2011, and was the first time I had a male Foxie. Portos always been very independent and fast learning.
We are waiting for you at Cozumel, where you can meet Marina, Padme, Portos and new breeding, the whole family together!
