Going to vacations to the Caribbean is always a magical experience, the warm weather, the crystalline beaches and the tranquility of the people makes you want to stay and to not return to your routine … and why not?
Those of us who live in the Caribbean will agree on one thing; there is no better place to live than here. Though it is true that life in this place is very quiet, it is never boring, as it is a combination between the city, always awake, and the relaxing atmosphere that the beach gives, so, whether you want to relax on the beach or explore the city full of culture, there will aways going to be some option for you.
Quite apart from the paradise that the Caribbean can become, it is also one of the best places in the world to work since it is a very touristic place, there are plenty of hotels and companies, there are jobs for young people, professionals, and many opportunities and ideas for new projects, however we are going to talk about some positive and negative aspects that you should consider before you decide to live here:
1.- Forget the icy winters! The winters in the Caribbean are eternally mild, especially for those who are used to the cold weather.
2.- The most beautiful beaches will be less than 30 minutes away
3.- Summers can be very hot: remember that there are people who adapt to heat more easily than others.
4.- There are usually many mosquitoes in hot seasons, so you better have a good repellent to carry with you always.
5.- You don’t feel like going to the beach? No problem! There are lots of fun activities in the city.
6.- Everything is relatively close: forget about staying stuck in an endless traffic.
7.- The weather is very changeable: at first the day may seem sunny and excellent for going out and at the next hour it may be raining.
